“Boudoir Photography is fast becoming the favourite gift for a bride to give her groom. They are a special and unique photoshoot, and guarantee to be an amazing experience for any woman – no matter what age, shape or size.
Nowadays there are so many different genres of boudoir photography, including vintage, burlesque, pin-up and bridal boudoir, and each one of our shoots at Images by Kayte is tailored to compliment that of the individual client.
My clients let me see them in ways no one else does, and I feel that being female myself definitely helps! I understand how caught up we can get on our looks and how much pressure we are put under as women to be a size ‘whatever’ and to be able to fit into ‘that’ pair of skinny jeans.
However, during a photo shoot I know the angle and the lens to make those stretch marks disappear, and if that doesn’t work then Photoshop is great for smoothing out any lumps and bumps!
By the end of the shoot I want my clients to feel that the experience was so much more than just having their pictures taken. It should be an uplifting and, most of all, fun experience!
The images that come at the end are a treasured keepsake for you to look back on in 50 years time and say ‘God I was hot!’”
