On Sunday 9th June I met up with Jenny & Antony for their Pre Wedding session in Chester. We had a lovely walk near the river and Grosvenor Park. There’s so many beautiful locations to use we were spoilt for choice.

New Portrait Sessions :-)

As I’ve now got help with the business admin in the form of my lovely wife Niecey, I can finally start doing some portrait photography sessions again

I will initially take on 10 portrait sessions during 2013. These will be on location sessions anywhere you choose (beach, park etc) within 10 miles of Wirral (they can be further subject to additional mileage charges).

The session could be any of the following:

A Pre Wedding Session/Engagement for a couple even if KJP Images isn’t covering their wedding. Or even if you’re not engaged the session would provide lovely images for a couple who’d like some modern and creative photographs.

A family photo session.

A gift, ideal for a Birthday, Mother/Father days etc, Valentine’s Day gift.

Sessions will cost £75 which covers the cost of the session at a location of your choice* and a slideshow video of all the edited images.

Prints and other products including the Hi-res files from the session can be purchased separately from the KJP Images secure online website here.

Please get in touch with Kris at info@kjpimages.co.uk for info on how to book a session. They’ll be available on a first come basis and the session date can be booked in advance subject to availability.

A £50 booking fee will be required to secure your session with the balance due on completion of your Slideshow DVD.

*You will need to arrange your own transport to and from your chosen location.

KJP Images Wedding Photographer – 2012 Wedding Showcase

Once again I’d like to wish many congratulations to everyone who was married in 2012 and to those who are looking forward to their weddings to come.

I am taking bookings for 2013 onwards and dates can go quickly so please don’t delay in contacting me should you like my style and want me to cover your wedding. I’ve really struggled trying to choose my favourite images and the video below shows a small selection of images from weddings I covered in 2012. These images reflect my style of wedding photography in that whilst many are creative, I also enjoy capturing those candid moments which contain the many emotions visible during a wedding.

My aim at every wedding is to provide a record of the day in the form of creative & candid imagery to enable you to relive your wedding story time and again.

Merry Christmas

Once again, rather than send out Christmas cards I have made a donation to charity. The chosen charity is ‘KIND’ which is a charity that works with thousands of children, young people and families across Liverpool and greater Merseyside, developing new and imaginative ways to help them cope with many forms of disadvantage.

I’d like to take this opportunity to thank all the wonderful brides & grooms who have trusted me to cover their wedding during 2012. Congratulations to everyone married during 2012, I wish you all the best for the future.

It’s amazing how fast this year seems to have gone. I’ll be posting my 2012 favourites slideshow soon

I’m planning to have a quieter year during 2013 to try and do some personal work in addition to the wedding photography but I do still have some dates available so don’t hesitate to get in touch should you want KJP Images to cover your wedding. I’m also taking bookings for 2014 onwards which can be booked at the current prices for the moment (prices will likely increase slightly in the new year).

SWPP Monthly Competiton

I made the effort this year to enter a few images each month into the SWPP monthly competition and I’m really pleased I did as one of my images has been nominated by the panel of judges for the award of ‘Photographer of the Year’ in the category of ‘Pre and Post Wedding’.

Should I be lucky enough to win the award for this category, the image will then stand the chance of winning 3rd place, 2^nd place or Overall Photographer of the Year.

Winners will be announced on Saturday 12^th January 2012.

The image nominated was taken during Keeley & Daniels pre wedding session which took place in Feb on the Mersey Ferry and around the Liverpool & Seacombe waterfronts.

In total I was very pleased to have received 6 Gold Awards and 17 Highly Commended awards. The Gold award images are shown below.

Update Jan 2013 - although I didn’t win with my image for the category of ‘Pre and Post Wedding’ it really was an honour to have an image entered and up against some amazing photographers. The winner of the category was world renowned wedding photographer Jerry Ghionis whose stunning image you can see here.
