Frequently Asked Questions
Please find below some information and a list of FAQ’s, hopefully these will answer any questions you might have. If not, then please contact us.
Style and approach
Other than the formal group shots and a select number of bride and groom images, the majority of images will be unobtrusive candid shots. This allows you and your guests to relax and enjoy the wedding without worrying about the photography. This style of photography produces images that capture the story of your day.
How long will you stay on the wedding day?
We can stay as long as you like, our basic package starts before the ceremony and continues until the wedding breakfast. You can arrange to extend the coverage if required to cover bridal preps, speeches and first dance.
Do we get all the pictures?
Normally within six weeks of your wedding, you will receive two DVD’s. One DVD will be a slideshow video and the other will contain Hi-Res copies of all the edited images to enable you to print your own pictures and send them to family and friends. Alternatively you could choose to receive your images and slideshow on a personalised USB drive.
When will we get to see the photographs?
In most cases you will receive your DVD’s within six weeks of your wedding.
Can friends and family see the pictures?
Yes, we create a secure online gallery for you where your friends and family can also download photos of your wedding and purchase prints/products. You can view a sample online gallery here.
Can we provide you with a list of photographs we require taking?
Yes of course, although our style is predominantly candid photography, we will be there to photograph your day as you want. We will photograph whatever / whoever you would like. A list of photographs can be prepared during the consultation session. You will however need to ensure you allow enough time on your wedding day for these photographs to be taken.
Who will be our photographers?
Kris Pendlebury will be your main photographer and point of contact for your wedding, he only photographs one wedding per day and a maximum of 35 a year. The second photographer will vary depending on availability but is normally Deniece Pendlebury of KJP Images or Kayte Allen of imagesbykayte.
Do we have to meet you to book you?
No you do not have to meet us and many clients book after seeing the imagery on this site or through recommendation. However, should you have any questions that cannot be answered over the phone we would be happy to meet up and discuss your wedding further.
How do we book you?
Please contact us to reserve your wedding day. We will then send you via Email our standard booking contract and invoice for the booking fee. On receipt of your payment and booking form, your date will be booked into our diary.
When will we be required to pay for your services?
A booking fee of £150 is required at the time of booking. The balance (less booking fee) is payable four weeks before the wedding. Additional orders for prints, parent’s albums, extra DVD’s etc are payable on order.
Do you charge travel expenses?
Not normally within 40 miles of Wirral. If your wedding is further afield we would normally charge mileage and if an overnight stay is required this would be charged at cost. Please note however we will be up front with these charges prior to you booking your wedding. Mileage charges are calculated using google maps.
Are you insured?
We carry full equipment, public liability, employee liability and professional indemnity insurance.
Do you offer discounts?
KJP Images is committed to offering the highest quality and service to all their clients through exclusivity and creativity. The prices charged reflect the costs and time involved (often over a weeks work for each wedding) in maintaining these standards and as such we are unable to offer any discounts.
